Mark Lacuesta, FRM, CAIA, CIPM

Director of Index Strategies, IndexIQ

Mark is Director of Index Strategies at IndexIQ where he is responsible for overseeing IndexIQ’s proprietary and third-party indexes underlying the firm’s ETF offerings. In this role, Mark is involved with research, product development, trading, sales, and marketing.

Mark joined IndexIQ in 2014 after previously working at FactSet Research Systems where he held a number of senior sales positions focusing on Institutional Asset Managers and Plan Sponsors. Prior to FactSet, Mark was a Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley.

Mark holds a M.S. in Financial Risk Management from the University of Connecticut and received his B.S. in Biochemistry and B.A. in Economics from the University of California at San Diego. Mark is a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM), a CAIA charter holder, a CIPM Certificant, and is currently a CFA Level 3 candidate.
